Latidos (2024) is a permanent generative LED installation located at the Farmaconsulting headquarters in Vitoria, Spain. This compelling work comprises 17 interwoven LED ribbon strips mounted on a lobby wall. Their sinuous movement simulates a circulatory system powered by an imaginary heartbeat.

The installation integrates four webcams that detect the movements of staff and visitors. Their presence disrupts the visual flow, triggering expanding waves across the LED structure—one heartbeat for each person. In this way, Latidos enlivens the building itself, positioning it as a living organism attentive to the well-being of its inhabitants.

Formed with sculptural LED screens, custom generative software, real-time tracking, webcams, metal framework, and networked computing, Latidos evokes the pulse of life through human participation. It transforms a corporate lobby into a shared, organic visual heartbeat—an act of collective creation and reflection
