Crossroad DKV is a permanent LED sculptural installation by Daniel Canogar showcased in the lobby of DKV Seguros in Zaragoza, Spain. The sweeping, looped form encourages visitors to view it from multiple angles, while the surrounding glass enhances its presence through reflections.

The video content delves into crawling—a fundamental, primal gesture of infancy when we first experience autonomy and environmental exploration. Canogar invited DKV staff to perform crawling movements on a chroma-key platform under an overhead camera. The footage was then transformed into an animation that mixes abstract patterns with recognisable human motion.

The title Crossroad signifies pivotal moments of choice, yet the installation forms an endless loop—symbolising how individuals can become trapped in repetitive cycles, emphasising the difficulty of breaking free. Created with flexible LED panels, proprietary video software, metal framework, and computer-controlled playback, the sculpture measures 222 × 184 × 403 cm—almost 4 m in length.
