At Alfa Arte Foundry, we are proud to have meticulously cast Genesis, a contemporary bronze sculpture by Alex Knapic, using the lost‑wax techniques. Genesis (2024) is a commanding piece, standing at 52 × 40 × 40 cm, belonging to Knapic’s ‘Genesis’ series. The sculpture features a polished, geometric cube fractured to reveal a richly textured interior—a dramatic contrast between exterior smoothness and organic complexity.

Crafted entirely in bronze, our refined finishing ensures that the warm, golden patina accentuates both its structured facade and the chaotic inner core—symbolic of transformation from order to creative emergence. This makes Genesis not only a masterpiece of sculptural form but also a testament to the artistry of fine art bronze casting and contemporary sculpture.

Knapic, a multidisciplinary artist rooted in mosaic, interior design, and 3D technologies, channels emotional landscapes into abstract form. With a deep connection to Istria’s natural palette and textures, he explores how moments of impulse crystallise into permanent structure—“moments that determine your future” as he notes. Genesis embodies this philosophy: solid and measured on the outside, yet alive with energy within.
