Billow is a series of generative LED installations created by Daniel Canogar, where the invisible rhythms of the digital world are turned into immersive sculptural experiences. Each Billow transforms real-time data—such as Google Trends search terms—into luminous animations that pulse and flow across flexible LED ribbons.
The works capture the emotional and informational climate of a connected society. As trending topics change, the installations shift in colour, rhythm, and intensity—echoing the volatility of digital attention. At times, search terms briefly appear in text before melting into a stream of abstraction.
With their fluid, ribbon-like forms, Billow installations evoke rivers, waves, and breath—bringing sensuality and poetic form to intangible digital systems. Installed in corporate headquarters and exhibitions worldwide, Billow turns data into a living landscape of motion and light.
